Glossary

What each label on this site is measured from.

The reference side
Front monthThe nearest delivery month still trading. It rolls, so a row read a month apart can describe a different contract.
SettlementThe price the exchange publishes for that contract, quoted in the exchange’s own convention: dollars for metals and energy, US cents for most grains and softs.
UnitWhat one unit of the quoted price is per: a troy ounce, a barrel, a bushel, a pound. Rows in different units do not compare.
Contract sizeHow much of the commodity one contract delivers. It does not change the quoted price.
Pinned snapshotA price taken from the copy stored in this repository because the live feed did not answer. Rows using it are labelled.
The pair side
LaunchA token created through an Argus Portal, together with the hook, splitter and locker deployed alongside it.
PortalThe contract that creates launches and holds their records. A launch answers from the one that created it, permanently.
HookThe per-launch Uniswap v4 contract that applies that launch’s tax and latches its bonding milestone. Every launch has its own.
SplitterThe per-launch contract that accounts for collected revenue and credits the four destinations.
LockerHolds the launch’s liquidity position. It is not a pool address.
Pool idThe identifier of the launch’s Uniswap v4 pool, derived from the pair, the fee, the tick spacing and the hook. It cannot be derived from the pair alone.
PriceQuote asset per whole token, read from the pool’s current state. A price in an arbitrary quote is not a USD price.
Fully diluted valuePrice multiplied by the token’s real total supply, read from the token contract rather than assumed.
Milestone progressHow far the current tick has moved from the opening tick toward the bonding tick. A display measure, never the bonded status.
GraduatedThe hook has latched its bonding milestone. A state, not a forecast. Nothing migrates.
Opening surchargeAn extra rate applied in the first seconds after a launch opens, with its own exemptions and cap.
Opening buyAn optional purchase by the creator in the same transaction as the launch. Above the price ceiling it is partially filled and refunded, not reverted.
ClaimableWhat a claim would pay the named account right now. Credited revenue is not paid revenue.
